We do not collect or use any personally identifiable information about our users including search history. It’s just that simple.

Togoda partnered with CloudFlare™ as a third-party proxy that anonymizes our users for 100% privacy. This service is offered free of charge. All activities including viewing news articles and websites within the Anonymized Reader Mode keeps your activities 100% anonymous. No other search engine is set up this way, but they all claim privacy. If the search engine does not encrypt your search and run through a reputable third-party proxy – it is not private.

Here’s how it works.

1) A Togoda user makes a search request.
2) The search request is encrypted and routed from your Internet Service Provider to CloudFlare proxy.
(Note: CloudFlare proxy systems are unable to read or scan user encrypted search requests.)
3)CloudFlare receives encrypted search request and strips out all the user’s personally identifiable information such as IP address, device, MAC address and more.
4)CloudFlare forwards your encrypted search request via a random CloudFlare IP address, and the requested information is encrypted and delivered in proxy to your device.

Bottom Line: Togoda cannot collect or share information on users with anyone including our partners and advertisers as it does not exist in our systems. We cache search results for 15 minutes after which the search is erased from our systems. There is no safer place to search and interact with data on the internet. VPN users will enjoy the substantial added layer of protection.
